EASTER EGG CAMPAIGN

In the last week in March 2010, we donated to the Radio Wave Easter Egg Campaign. The Partners and Staff agreed to purchase a box of Easter Eggs per staff member. In total we delivered 64 boxes. The employee and the Partners shared the cost as a 50:50 expense.

We at BDO believe it important to always think of those less fortunate than you. We hope and believe that our donation benefited some children over Easter.

2009 XMAS PARTY

Each year we make provision for our Partners to donate money towards a Christmas charity that is near to their heart. In 2009 we had such a party for orphans in the Khomas region of Namibia.

The party although intimate, was well received, with orphans having for once a very Merry Christmas.

PRIVATE SCHOOL SWAKOPMUND

In September 2009 we sponsored a hole at the PSS Spring Challenge – Golf Day. This proceeds of this event aims to acquire additional educational material for the school.

INTERSAI TOUR TO LESOTHO

In September 2009 we assisted with this donation in order to build team spirit and sportsmanship in one of the local parastatals in Windhoek.

INDUSTRIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS IN ONGWEDIVA

In October 2008 we sponsored netball and soccer teams for a local parastatal, which was aimed at teambuilding and promoting good sportsmanship. The event was well attended and all the participants had a wonderful and enriching experience.
