BDO & Hockey

In keeping with the spirit of our global sponsorship of hockey, locally BDO have to now been involved on a smaller scale with the sponsorship of team shirts and the like.

In 2007 we sponsored shirts for a team, and equipment for 2 underprivileged players that took part in the SADC Champions Tournament.

In 2009 we were approached by Windhoek Gymnasium, a local private school, to assist with the costs of building a hockey field at their new school premises in Kleine Kuppe Windhoek. We saw this as an ideal opportunity to get more involved in hockey locally.

Although not quite completed, the school and other local teams will use the field, and we envisage holding a BDO sponsored hockey tournament at this location in the near future.

We are now proud to announce that we are the sole sponsors of the BDO Hockey field at Windhoek Gymnasium, and the field is currently in the process of being completed.
