Meet BDO Namibia partners: Chairman Wayne McTeer, Managing partner Róchel Celliers, Tax partner Lorna Celliers, Audit partners Magda Nel, Johan De Vos and Charl Celliers, and IT partner Warren Carr.

BDO is very proud  to announce the appointment of its 7th partner in Namibia, Johan de Vos.  Johan attended General Hertzog High School in Witbank, South Africa, where after he studied at the University of Johannesburg and completed his B Com (Accounting) in 2005.  He started articles in South Africa, but was recruited to BDO where he completed articles and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (Namibia) in 2007.

Johan has valuable experience in the diamond manufacturing industry, and will continue to service our clients in the mining industry in Namibia.  He also has extensive experience in retail, construction, micro financing, short and long term insurance, transport and electricity distribution.  After spending a number of years as senior manager of BDO Windhoek office, Johan brings a wealth of experience and technical expertise to the firm, as well as his close relationships with our young trainees and recently qualified professionals, for which he is a mentor.

Johan is married to Maryke and has a son.  He enjoys tennis, cricket and golf and is a keen 4x4 driving enthusiast.
