BDO Performance 2009

BDO Namibia is pleased to announce that its total combined revenue has increased by some 11% for the year ended 31 December 2009, despite pressure on fee income as a result of many clients being hit hard by the worldwide economic recession.

BDO Walvis Bay performed exceptionally well over their budget for the year. This can be attributed mainly to the firm’s expertise in the fishing industry, and our clients’ innovative business strategies has shown them prospering in difficult economic times.

In the words of BDO CEO Jeremy Newman : “ These results are a real credit to the resilience of the network.”

Since the end of the financial year, the firm have been investigating strategic opportunities in areas in the region where it has not got a significant presence yet.
