Land tax assessments 2009/2010
The Ministry of Lands and Resettlement stated in a Media Release, issued on Friday the 2nd of July, that the land tax assessments for the financial year 2009/2010 were posted on the 22nd of June 2010. The assessments which were posted were only for those landowners who furnished the Ministry with details of their postal addresses and whose properties are listed on the main valuation roll.
The onus is on the landowner to ensure that their assessments are collected, if not received, and paid on or before the 30th of September 2010. The assessments can be collected from the office of the Valuer General, Division of Rating and Taxation, Surveyor General and Deeds Building, 45 Robert Mugabe Avenue, Windhoek.
Payment of land tax can be made at the office of the Receiver of Inland Revenue located at:
- Walvis Bay
- Windhoek
- Oshakati
- Rundu
- Any Magistrate Office countrywide
